Officer Jeff Hoover & K9 Joost 1996-1999 Jeff describes his time as a K9 handler in Longmont as his best years of his career. He said they were a successful K9 unit for two reasons. First and foremost, the teamwork and help they received from their fellow patrol officers and secondly the guidance and instruction of Arpad Bality. Jeff said “It was a great experience for me and I’ve grown to appreciate it even more now that I have an opportunity to look back and see how blessed I was.”
